She recently graduated from The Juilliard School with a BFA in Dance and will join South Chicago Dance Theatre for the 2026–27 season.

At Juilliard, Katrina performed works by Crystal Pite, Studio Wayne McGregor, William Forsythe, Alvin Ailey, José Limón, Pam Tanowitz, Jamar Roberts, Hope Boykin, and Shen Wei, among others. She has also trained through programs including Springboard Danse, Ballet BC, and Orsolina28.

Alongside her performance career, Katrina is passionate about dance education, artistic collaboration, and choreography. During her time at Juilliard, she had two original works featured in Choreographic Honors 2025 and participated in numerous student choreographic workshops. In addition to her choreographic work, Katrina has taught at dance studios throughout New York and Chicago. Alongside her passion for teaching, she has spent the past two summers serving as a resident counselor and choreographic assistant at the Juilliard Summer Dance Intensive. While still in school, Katrina was awarded the Obremski/Works 2026 VISION Fellowship, which supports emerging AAPI artists in collegiate and university settings.

Outside of dance, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new cities, trying different foods, and journaling. Now based in Chicago, Katrina is excited to deepen her roots within the city’s vibrant dance scene. She is especially interested in creating work and spaces that bring connection, curiosity, and community. Katrina is available for performance projects, guest artist opportunities, teaching, choreography commissions, and creative collaborations with fellow artists and organizations. She looks forward to being a part of the Chicago dance community!
